How To Bookmark Wormhole Signatures (Wormhole Scanning Tips)

This article will just be a primer on how to properly bookmark wormholes in EVE Online. We will mostly be covering wormholes from high security space (highsec) to wormhole space (w-space) in this post as Voyager Syndicate currently bases partly from highsec. Almost never bookmark from the probe scanner results When you bookmark a wormhole from the probe scanner results, you will land 5-10km off the wormhole where the signature is located. Ideally you want to land at zero on the wormhole when you warp to it from your bookmarks, to accomplish this you want to bookmark the wormhole from your overview. So first warp to the scan result, then bookmark the wormhole from your overview. However a fresh wormhole will only open its exit once it has been warped to. So the exception to this rule is that if you are living in a wormhole system and you are rolling wormholes (collapsing them through reaching the mass limit by jumping multiple heavy ships through them), then you can bookmark the new wor

The Choonka Happening: Total Victory For Voyager Syndicate

On January 6th, 2024 the Minmatar Fleet Alliance (FL33T) attacked Curatores Veritatis Alliance (CVA) nullsec systems in Providence. Voyager Syndicate (-VSY-) pilots joined the fight to help defend Providence from the Minmatar scourge. Before the fight started -VSY- had a small gate camp in Dital on three different stargates, as the Minmatar pilots were previously seen traveling from lowsec through Amarrian highsec even when criminals. But FL33T decided to use a titan bridge instead of traveling by stargates, so nothing happened. But after the fight was more or less over, the gate camp resumed and eventually Minmatar ships started to get caught in the camp. The first of which was this Viator carrying an Astrahus citadel, the loot fairy was gracious. Not long after that the gate camp was moved to the Choonka side to catch people leaving the fight via stargate. A few ships were caught on that side as well, including a Stiletto, Sabre and a Sleipnir command ship. Some help was had from two

New Eden Tour Notes From December 2023

Back in December 16, 2023 the corp took a New Eden tour around some signficant systems in the game. First we went to the largest wormhole system Thera, thanks to the EvE-Scout public bookmarks folder. Thera had a wormhole connection only 1 jump from our main base in highsec, and there were some decent connections to other systems we planned to visit. Our second place we visited was B-R5RB and the Titanomachy titan graveyard from the battle of B-R5RB which even has its own Wikipedia page . It was possibly the largest virtual battle fought in gaming history. Screenshot by fracture the protogen. I remember there being a highsec incursion during that trip, so we had to travel best speed. Luckily we were all in Rifters and I believe there was one Slasher pilot with us as well. After viewing the Titan graveyard we headed back to Thera and got one kill on the Thera wormhole. It was a newbro in an exploration frigate, we eventually sent him some ISK and tips on how to fly safer. Our next sto

Cyclone PVE Fit For Nullsec Ratting (Earn 40 Mil Per Hour)

You can do Hubs, Ports and Forsaken Rally Points with this Cyclone fit. In the video I do a Sansha Hub and make around 36 mil per hour not including loot and salvage which may add 5-10 mil ISK more to your profits. The tactic is to orbit a structure at the center of the site at 20km with afterburner on. Remember to turn on your shield booster and hardeners also. Then just attack the NPCs. Clear the sentry towers and small ships first, like frigates and cruisers.  If you encounter elite frigates, maybe change to precision ammo if you can use T2 ammo. Only launch your drones once close to the spawn, and pull your drones if they get attacked. The fit below is optimized for EM/thermal damage in Sansha space. To fly it in other areas, just change the missiles, drones and resistance modules. Nullsec Ratting Guide For Newbros

Doing combat anomalies or ratting as it's called can be done in nullsec with cheap and expendable ships. In this guide I will show you two T1 cruisers that can be used for ratting and you can make 15-20 million ISK per hour with these ships. Depending on where you live, you may need to use different ship fittings, these fits are optimized for Sansha space. In Sansha space the NPCs or rats as they are called (hence the term ratting) deal EM and thermal damage, and they also have a weakness against EM and thermal damage. So ideally you want a ship that deals either of those damage types to take advantage of their weaknesses, and you'll want to tank against those damage types. But for example in Angel space the NPCs deal explosive and kinetic damage, so those NPCs require different weapons and fits. Ship fittings For semi-AFK ratting I would recommend the Vexor which is a Gallente cruiser, or the Arbitrator which is an Amarrian cruiser. Choose whichever you have better skillpoints

How To Avoid Highsec Ganks While Transporting Valuables

In high security space (highsec) it is possible to destroy ships before the CONCORD police arrives to destroy the attackers ships. This is called ganking. Usually valuable ships (marauders, faction battleships, blinged ships) or ships carrying valuables (transport ships, freighters, DSTs) are targeted, but some gankers even target shuttles and pods. There are ways to mitigate the risks of being ganked, although it's not always zero. Here I will cover some of these methods. #1 Use EVE Gate Check and Zkillboard to check your route First enter your route into EVE Gate Check to see if there has been any killboard activity in the past hour on your route. If there has been, then check the system(s) on Zkillboard to see who targeted what type of ships to get more intel. Even if there hasn't been any recent activity, there are some systems that are commonly camped by gankers. These include the following: Uedama , Sivala , Juunigaishi , Anttiri , Balle , Gheth , Ohide , Bagodan etc.

Rook PVE Fit For Low Class Wormhole Ratting

In this post we're going to take a look at the Rook, which is a Caldari combat recon ship. One of the interesting features of the Rook is that it cannot be detected by directional scanners, which makes it ideal for when you want to be stealthy such as when doing PVE combat sites in wormhole space. Another good feature is that the Rook can blast over 600 DPS with Heavy Assault Missiles, although it is locked to a kinetic damage bonus which doesn't matter in wormholes but if used in lowsec it's recommended to stay in Guristas space. I haven't tried this Rook PVE fit in class 3 wormhole sites, but it could be able to do some of the easier combat sites as well. One thing to consider in wormhole space is the fact that you will most likely use a Mobile Tractor Unit (MTU), and once that is deployed it will be visible on the directional scanner. To reduce your visibility on d-scan, consider dropping the MTU after the first or second waves of sleepers. This way your d-scan visib
